In this article we have prepared WhatsApp infographic that shows the growth of this very popular application that may in the future replace the classic sms text messages.

We all know that Facebook bought WhatsApp service which paid a whopping $ 19 billion. WhatsApp now has 450 million users, and according to this results every user is worth about $ 42.

The service currently handles the impressive number of 11 billion sent messages per day. This equals 20 billion received messages because some message are sent to multiple recipients and Whatsapp’s immensely popular group chats. The service also sees 325 million photo uploads every day, putting it far beyond the number of dedicated photo sharing services such as Instagram (45m photos per day).

If you are a person who likes to send text messages and you’ll never have enough of text messages in the operator package, and you want to save some money, then WhatsApp Messenger is for you.

WhatsApp Messenger is a mobile application for sending and receiving free text messages. WhatsApp Messenger is available for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Phone and Nokia phones and all these phones can mutually exchange messages if they have installed application. WhatsApp users can create groups and send each other unlimited images, videos and audio messages.

Also, WhatsApp is now available as a web application. To use this version of the application you need to go to their site and scan the QR code on your mobile device. Web-application now can be opened only on Google Chrome in conjunction with Android, Windows-phone or BlackBerry. Compatibility with Apple’s iOS is not planned yet.
