Galaxy TabPro S: 2-in-1 Tablet Powered by Windows 10

Samsung at CES in Las Vegas unveiled its first Windows Tablet within the Galaxy family. Samsung Galaxy TabPRO S is hybrid based on the Windows 10 operating system and would directly oppose the Microsoft Surface Pro tablet.

So far, Samsung’s Windows devices have always been a part of Ativ line so this is kind of a novelty to have their Windows device, but in the Galaxy line. Samsung Galaxy S TabPRO 2in1, as its name suggests is a sort of hybrid tablet and mini notebook, considering that it comes with a keyboard with touchpad.

It features a spacious 12-inch Super AMOLED screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,440, which indeed sounds promising. Inside of magnesium casing is the latest Intel Core M processor, which enables silent operation, with a 4 GB of RAM and SSD 128/256 data space.

Its weight is acceptable – 693 g, and the battery capacity of 5200 mAh offers 10.5 hours of use, and can be recharged up to 100% for 2.5 hours on the charger. At the head and the back carries a 5 megapixel camera and is equipped with a USB port C, to which you can plug and multi-port adapter with HDMI, USB Type A & C slots.

As additional equipment there will be the Bluetooth Pen stylus. It will be sold separately while the keyboard comes with the device in the package. At the market will come out sometime in February and at the moment the price is unknown. For more information check out the infographic below:
